ETA was founded in 1995 by a core of staff from BT Marine, formerly the cable laying subsidiary of British Telecom. As such the company has long established roots in the submarine communications industry, and maintains a strong capability in this area.

ETA has worked on many communication cable projects worldwide, ranging from short island links to intercontinental systems. Market knowledge and engineering expertise enables us to ensure timely and cost effective solutions to client requirements. Our technical understanding and 'hands-on' experience of cable installation, and related subsea construction, enables us to develop innovative solutions to meet particular project demands.
