Renewables
Marine
Renewables projects utilise many of the key technologies of ETA's
'mainstream' marine construction markets. In this sector early
attention to environmental, technical, geological, construction
and operational considerations is essential. The projects typically
require a combination of offshore construction and civil engineering
techniques to achieve a reliable and economical solution. ETA
has a strong track record in the engineering and management of
marine systems on the UK Continental Shelf and globally, and has
applied these skills in support of renewables projects.
Tasks
completed include desk studies, risk assessments, and Project
Management support of UK offshore wind projects. A current project
is managing the submarine cable installation for the North Hoyle
wind farm on behalf of Mayflower Energy.
