Grapnels
ETA
design and build grapnels for cable detrenching, recovery, route
clearance and ploughability survey (PAS). Designs range from basic
types to our wheeled grapnel up to our 3.0 m Tiger grapnel.

recovery of buried armoured cable in sands and gravels.

grapnel designed to match the burial performance of the new

A
hydraulic grapnel designed for the recovery from deep water
of lightweight (armourless) cable.

ETA
are developing a very deep penetration grapnel for recovery of cables
from 9m in soft sands and muds. This tool will also have the capability
to rebury the cable post repair.
Although
specialising in detrenching grapnels ETA can also supply a full
range of conventional grapnels.
